Radio interview on kids and coding

I spoke on Colourful Radio yesterday about computing and young people. I thought that some of the questions asked were really useful and I had to think on my feet. John Popham very kindly recorded it on SoundCloud, I hope it is helpful

  2. Good interview. The movement to remedy the lack of any kind of decent computer programming education in this country over the last 30 years is a great one – I really hope it can sustain its momentum.

Funny how many people think that Tim Berners-Lee had something to do with the creation of the Internet (rather than the development of a (web) protocol) – I guess that can be blamed on the lack of good computer science education in schools too.
